The historic town of Gettysburg is said to be haunted by Civil War-era ghosts — so, with an assignment from the Travel Editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette we set out to investigate. We researched the topic on-line, then spent several days in the area, interviewing people and exploring sites.

The resulting article appeared in the newspaper on the Fourth of July, and, according to the Travel Editor, drew positive comments from readers and other editors.
