The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania wanted to redo its visitors’ center. They wanted multimedia exhibits that would teach State history and governmental processes to visitors of all ages and interest levels – and they wanted the exhibits to be fun.
The project required intensive brainstorming, researching, writing, and working with professionals in graphic/exhibit design, computer programming, and video production. The result is a visitors’ center that includes video, audio, kinetic sculpture, and more – all presented with historical accuracy plus touches of drama and humor.
The projected average visit length was 20 minutes, but the exhibits turned out to be compelling enough that most people actually stay 45 minutes.
